A Prayer of Thanksgiving and Consecration Over the Work

Father Almighty,

Tonight we stop and acknowledge You.

Before we ask You for growth, reach, influence, provision or increase, we simply say:

Thank You.

Thank You for carrying this work.

Thank You for every idea You allowed to become clearer, every correction that protected the mandate, every lesson hidden inside difficulty, and every moment when we did not know what to do next but eventually found the way forward.

We acknowledge that wisdom belongs to You.

Strength belongs to You.

Provision belongs to You.

The vision belongs to You.

And this work belongs to You.

Father, we place Consecrated Business Ministry before You again.

Let nothing grow here that You have not planted.

Let nothing remain merely because we have become attached to it.

Correct what needs correction.

Strengthen what should remain.

Remove what distracts from the mandate.

Protect the integrity of the Altar.

May prayer never become performance.

May teaching never become empty information.

May resources never replace dependence upon You.

May business success never become an idol.

May numbers never become our measure of obedience.

And may people never be treated as possessions of this ministry.

When a business owner comes carrying confusion, let there be wisdom.

When someone comes carrying a burden, let there be prayer.

When someone needs formation, let truth be taught faithfully.

When someone needs correction, let it come with wisdom and love.

When someone has been strengthened and is ready to continue, give us grace to release them.

Teach us to know when to receive, when to nurture, when to strengthen, when to refer, when to wait and when to send.

We consecrate every destination being established: the Altar, the prayers, the messages, the learning, the gatherings, the resources and everything that will flow from them.

We consecrate every future event.

We consecrate every person who will teach, pray, serve or lead.

We consecrate every business that will be brought before You.

We consecrate every resource that will leave our hands and enter another person's life.

Let Your Word remain at the centre.

Let Jesus Christ remain Lord.

Let the Holy Spirit govern what human strategy cannot.

And where strategy is required, give us wisdom to build well.

Father, as this ministry enters another season of public work, go before us.

Guard us from haste.

Guard us from pride.

Guard us from comparison.

Guard us from building what You did not commission.

Give us courage where obedience requires courage, restraint where restraint is wisdom, and endurance where the assignment requires time.

May businesses be strengthened.

May families benefit from righteous stewardship.

May workers be treated with dignity.

May leaders grow in integrity.

May resources be stewarded faithfully.

May decisions be submitted to You.

May businesses that have lost their way find alignment again.

And may the marketplace see evidence that the Lordship of Jesus Christ is not confined to Sunday worship but reaches our leadership, money, decisions, relationships, work, ownership and stewardship.

We place what has been completed before You.

We place what remains unfinished before You.

And we place tomorrow before You before tomorrow arrives.

This is Your work.

Keep us consecrated enough to remember that.
